Cancellation & Booking Policy
We understand that travel plans can change. This policy explains the general approach used by Desert Luxury Travel. The written quotation and booking confirmation for your specific journey will always show any supplier-specific terms and will take priority if they differ from this page.
Confirming a booking
A tour is confirmed only after we send written confirmation and receive the deposit stated in your quotation. The remaining balance, payment method and due date will also be shown in that confirmation.
Cancellation by the traveler
Please cancel in writing by email or WhatsApp. We will acknowledge the request and identify any hotel, camp, transport, guide or activity costs that cannot be recovered. Deposits may become non-refundable after services have been reserved. Any recoverable balance will be returned through an agreed payment method; bank or payment-provider processing times may apply.
Changes and postponements
We will try to change dates, names, accommodation or the route when suppliers have availability. Any additional cost or non-refundable supplier charge will be explained before the change is confirmed.
Late arrival, no-show and unused services
Services missed because of late arrival, early departure or a no-show are normally non-refundable once the relevant supplier has committed the booking. Contact us as early as possible and we will help rearrange what can reasonably be changed.
Cancellation or significant change by us
If we must cancel a service for a reason within our control, we will offer a suitable alternative, travel credit or a refund for the affected service. We are not responsible for separate flights or arrangements booked independently.
Events outside reasonable control
Weather, road closures, natural events, public action, safety concerns or other exceptional circumstances may require a route or schedule change. We will prioritize safety and work with suppliers to offer the fairest practical alternative, credit or recoverable refund.
Travel insurance
We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation, medical care, personal belongings and disruption. Check the policy wording before travel.
